It's a Bird! It's a Plane! NO! It's Suuuuuper Waura!

The other day Laura found, and talked her brothers in to helping her get in to, a cape we have that went with a pair of pj's at some point in the boys young life. This red cape has been many things but Laura brought it full circle again. She went running through the house saying "It's a bird! It's a plane! NO! It's Suuuuuuper Waura!!!" over and over again. Cracked me up.

I am a big fan of your Blog and your family. I have a 6 year old daughter who has gone through similar but not exactly the same thing as Laura with her Club feet. my daughter has hypotonia with her muscles among other things. Anyway, today was her yearly orthodpedic appointment at Children's Hospital in Boston. After 4 years of continuos SMO use she was given the clearance not to have to use any anymore and just be..... After thanking the dear Lord above. I thought of you and knew you would be happy for us! Keep up the good work. you are an inspriation to mother's everywhere.

Michele,
I am absolutely THRILLED for you! I can only imagine the joy you all have - and of course how you are going to go shoe shopping soon! Give her a hug for me and enjoy the freedom. After all, we know what it really means to just be...

Michele,
YEAH FOR THE GIRLIE SHOES!!! I know how excited I was to discover that the See Kai Run shoes fit over her SMO's... I felt so much better. Can't wait to just buy shoes because they are cute and not make them fit over something. I'm so happy for both of you! Enjoy those girlie shoes!
